桥楼值班报警系统

概述

桥楼航行值班报警系统（Bridge Navigational Watch Alarm System ）英文缩写为BNWAS ，主要用来保证船舶在航行时一直在驾驶台值班人员的控制中，保证驾驶台一直有值班人员值班。值班人员必须在设定好的时间内（3 到12 分钟）按下复位按钮，则安全值班报警系统重新开始计时。当上述情况出现时，系统将产生一系列逐步延伸的报警直到引起相关人员的注意，确保值班驾驶员履行其值班职责。

桥楼航行值班报警系统是船舶运行时的重要系统。船舶在海上航行途中的任何时候，驾驶室航行值班报警系统均应保持运行。

Bridge Navigational Watch Alarm System

General Introduction

The purpose of a bridge navigational watch alarm system ( BNWAS ) is to monitor bridge activity and detect operator disability which could lead to marine accidents. A watch officer is required to press the button on a Timer Reset Panel or to operate navigation equipment (e.g. ECDIS, Radar, etc.) at certain intervals, which can be set between 3 and 12minutes. This purpose is achieved by a series of indications and a1arm to a1ert first the officer and, if he is not responding, then to alert the Master or another qualified officer.

Additionally,the BNWAS provides the officer with a means 0f calling for immediate assistance. The BNWAS should be operational whenever the ship is underway at sea.
